The VR Motorcycle Safety App is a demonstration of how students can enhance and improve motorcycle safety through the use of Virtual Reality (VR) and instructor-led training. There are 10 million motorcycle riders in the United States and each of those riders must understand how to operate and control their vehicles, be aware of the traffic around them, and have a high degree of situational awareness to remain safe in their riding activities. This app offers students a unique understanding in how to operate, maintain, and safely ride their motorcycles by utilizing immersive content that provides the learner with a visual, auditory, and kinesthetic experience of motorcycle skills in a safe environment.


This app can be used with or without a VR head mounted display and is best viewed on a reasonably current mobile device. Requires iPhone 6 or later.
